Congratulations to our February Athlete of the Month, Sam Gwizd! This is also a tribute to Sam… she is a “gem” of a person. Sam has been with us for 4 years. In that 4 years, she has come over 871 times which averages 4X per week!! That is unmatched dedication and commitment! Sam has been with us while she has worked on her doctorate of Geology at UT. She has now completed that and is moving to Los Angeles to work with NASA the end of this month. We will miss her so much! Sam started off in CrossFit classes and over the years found her love in Olympic Weightlifting. That is where she has been for most of the last year plus. Scroll through these pictures and you will see all the years of smiles that she leaves us with. You’d think she just came in and smiled all the time, but she put so much practice, consistency and hard work in over the years every time she walked through the door. She’s a delight!
